Data Specialist

Here at Insignia, we specialize in providing accessory sales solutions and training. By using our vehicle personalization system, automotive dealerships can easily manage accessory sales, ensuring dealerships can easily profit from automotive accessory sales effectively.

We are currently looking for a Data Specialist to join our growing team. The Data Specialist maintains both OE (original equipment) and aftermarket automotive accessories data by performing manual and automated data entry using an in-house data management interface. This position also conducts data research from a variety of sources and responds to customer feedback and inquiry, usually via email. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail and consistency and is organized and focused.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Entering new vehicle and accessories data
• Maintaining vehicles and data by updating descriptions, fitment and labor
• Consistently cross-references from multiple sources accuracy
• Factory color code grouping
• Image preparation (sizing, cropping, coloring)
• Responding to dealer feedback (email or phone)
• Troubleshooting and documentation of system issues
• Training of new hires
• Cross-department collaboration
• Keeping up to date with new software features
• Communication with manager and peers regarding tasks and issues
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Data entry experience a plus
• Background in automotive industry a plus, not required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity of Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat a plus
• Well-organized and extremely detail-oriented
• Professional appearance and phone manner
• Good interpersonal skills
• Team Player
